Teachers

Starting secondary school means you'll have lots of different teachers instead of just one. That might sound a little scary at first, but your teachers want you to enjoy learning and do your very best. They're there to help you settle in and succeed.

What Year 7 Students Told Us

⭐ "I thought the teachers would be really scary, but they were actually really friendly."

⭐ "The teachers knew it was our first week and explained everything clearly."

⭐ "After a few days, I wasn't nervous about my teachers anymore."

⭐ "They wanted us to do well and helped us settle in."

⭐ "If you ask for help, they will always try to support you."

🌟 Top Tips for Lessons

  • 😊 Listen carefully to instructions.

  • ✋ Put your hand up if you need help.

  • 📚 Bring the right equipment to every lesson.

  • ⏰ Arrive on time whenever you can.

  • 🌟 Look at your timetable before each lesson so you know where you're going next.

🌟 Remember...

Your teachers aren't expecting you to know everything on your first day. They understand that starting secondary school is a big step and they'll help you settle in.

Before you know it, you'll be helping next year's Year 6 pupils find their way around!
