Homework
What if I get too much homework?
Lots of Year 6 pupils worry that secondary school will mean hours and hours of homework every night.
The truth is that homework is usually set to help you practise what you've learned in lessons. You'll quickly get into a routine, and teachers will explain what they expect.
What Year 7 Students Told Us
⭐ "I thought there would be loads of homework every night, but it wasn't as bad as I expected."
⭐ "Using my planner really helped me remember what I needed to do."
⭐ "I like getting homework finished early so I can relax afterwards."

📅 Don't leave everything until the last minute.
⏰ Spend a little time each evening rather than trying to do it all at once.
